You can configure Data Acquisition Processors to measure differential signal channels using the Input Pin edit box.

After configuring your channel count and sampling rate, you can change the Data Acquisition Processor mode to work with your differential signals in the same Input Pipes configuration window. Each channel can be configured for differential or single-ended operation, but check your hardware manual carefully if you are using a mixed configuration.

Use the following procedure to convert all of your channels to differential operation.

Details:

  1. Select File|New.
  2. Select the Input Pipes tab, and type "8" in the Channels edit box.
  3. Press the down-arrow button next to the Input Pin edit box, and select Differential from the list. D0 will be displayed in the Input Pin edit box.
  4. Move the mouse cursor over the Input Pipe Edit Selection grid, press the right mouse button to bring up a pop-up menu, and select All Channels -> Input Pin Increment From First.

The following figure shows the dialog when switching to differential operation for input channel pipe IP0.
