DSCview Demo (1.07 MB)
The DSCview Demo provides a demonstration version of the filter design software included with every iDSC 1816 board. The demo allows experimentation with the filter design capabilities and shows the three display options. DSCview Demo is designed for Windows systems, but DSCview for Linux can be downloaded with the DAPtools Basic CD.

FGen for Windows 1.01 (585 kB)
FGen generates FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filter vectors for use with DAPL filtering commands. This earlier version of FGen is an easy-to-use Windows program. For FGen for Windows 2.00, with added capabilities, order DAPtools Standard.

DAPmem (328 kB)
DAPmem displays onboard memory use in real time. This provides useful feedback to different possible approaches to developing an application. DAPL itself guarantees that an application need never lose data and not know it. DAPmem offers a further layer of protection: it lets you optimize DAP memory without ever reaching its limit.

DAPtools 4.xx CD Upgrades
Customers with DAPtools Standard or Professional CDs version 4.xx can upgrade directly to the 4.20 version of their DAPtools CD.

DAPtools 3.xx CD Upgrades
Customers with DAPtools CDs version 3.xx can upgrade directly to the 3.51 version of their DAPtools CD. Or call to order to the current 4.20 version of DAPtools Standard or DAPtools Professional.

DAPtools for MATLAB 1.00 (322 kB)
DAPtools for MATLAB allows a user to communicate with a Data Acquisition Processor using the MATLAB programming environment. It integrates the processing power of a Data Acquisition Processor with the powerful technical computing environment of MATLAB. If you need DAPtools for MATLAB 4.00, the 32-bit DAP library for MATLAB version 5.0 or later, purchase it from Microstar Laboratories.

LabVIEW DAP Library 1.00 (73 kB)
The LabVIEW self-extracting zip file contains dap.llb, which is a Data Acquisition Processor library for LabVIEW version 3.1. This copy is complete and can be used for application development. You can demo the library if you have LabVIEW. You need a Data Acquisition Processor and standard software, the Windows Toolkit, and LabVIEW to develop data acquisition applications. If you need DAPtools for LabVIEW, the DAP library for LabVIEW version 4.0 or later, purchase it from Microstar Laboratories.

DAPL Software and Drivers for 16-Bit Applications for ISA DAP Boards
This download includes the software you need to run your 16-bit data acquisition application on your ISA DAP board. Each ISA DAP board ships with this software, which includes DAPL, but if you need the current version, whether you are upgrading to Windows 95/98 or have mislaid your original disk, you can download the files here. We require some information from you before you download this software only, so please fill in the following form completely.

Use this program only if you run a 16-bit application under Windows 95. Do not use this if you have a 32-bit application or use Accel32. This program, a simple DAP diagnostic tool, provides basic information about how the system is set up and whether or not the correct drivers can be found.
