Redmond, WA, February 22, 2021 -- Microstar Laboratories, Inc., maker of Data Acquisition Processor (DAP) systems for PC-based high-performance measurement applications, released DAPtools Software 7.00. Designed to help users keep up with their data as well as Windows 10 developments, DAPtools Software 7.00 seamlessly sets up the appropriate version, so that they can get to work. The DAPtools package is available in three versions: Basic, Standard, and Professional.

Functionality

DAPcell software serves as the central hub for DAP activity on each host system. Versions of it are included with each DAPtools release. Upgrades to DAPcell in this release mean that it can adapt to the Windows 10 configuration. It works with features like secure boot in recent Windows 10 versions and makes sure that a system just works. If the user runs an earlier Windows build, DAPcell understands and runs the software version that is right for the situation.

Existing Compatibility

Different versions of DAPcell run automatically, depending on the Windows version. DAPcell 8.00 runs with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019. DAPcell 7.41 runs for legacy Windows O/S (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP, Windows 2000). Each version works with the DAP or xDAP onboard operating system, DAPL, to minimize any Windows-related delays.

Basic, Standard, and Professional

Use the free DAPtools Basic 7.00 download to get a DAP or xDAP system up and running. Purchase the DAPtools Standard 7.00 software package, if the project needs third-party software or special functionality, such as software anti-aliasing or software synchronization. The DAPtools Professional 7.00 software package offers a full license for the DAP Measurement Studio (DAPstudio) development software, as well as DAPcell software for networked data acquisition and the Developer's Toolkit for DAPL for custom module development.

Availability

DAPtools Basic 7.00 is available for free download from the company Web site. DAPtools Standard 7.00 and DAPtools Professional 7.00 are available for purchase. Contact Microstar Laboratories, Inc. for purchase information.
